Our Women’s and Children’s units are fast-paced, high-acuity environments that foster learning, mentoring, and professional growth. The unit features:

• State Designated Level IV Maternity Care
• 5,000 deliveries per year
• 24/7 OB Hospitalist & Anesthesia coverage
• Outstanding employee engagement and leading patient satisfaction
• Strong ICU/ED collaboration
• Participation in Texas AIM and Maternal Transport Team
• Maternal Emergency Response Team (MERT)
• Patient ratios: 1:2, 1:1 in second stage and recovery
• 17 beds and 3 ORs

Note: The current waitlist for day shift is 3-5 years due to high retention.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional nursing care in a high-acuity Labor and Delivery setting, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and quality patient outcomes.

Requirements

• At least one year of RN experience in Labor and Delivery, preferably at a Level III or higher facility
• Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program
• Active RN license
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (required within 30 days of hire)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification (required within 30 days of hire)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification (required within 30 days of hire)
