Responsibilities

• Comprehensive assessment of patient and family needs
• Identification of outcomes based on needs assessment
• Establishing the plan of care
• Supervising the progress and modifying the plan of care as needed
• Maintaining education and competencies to remain proficient in patient care
• Incorporating evidence-based nursing practice
• Identifying age-appropriate, culturally appropriate, and realistic outcomes
• Collaborating effectively with unit staff, leadership, and other disciplines
• Supplemental roles: Charge Nurse, Preceptor

Requirements

• Associate's or Vocational degree
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience
• Licensed Registered Nurse – MN Board of Nursing required if working in state of MN upon hire / WI Department of Safety & Professional Services required if working in the state of WI upon hire
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or Allina in-house BLS training within 30 days of hire
• NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation - Multisource required for identified units per hiring manager within 4 months
• RN-C in related specialty preferred
• Physical Demands: Medium Work, Lifting up to 32 lbs. occasionally, up to 25 lbs. frequently

Qualifications

• 1 year RN high risk labor and delivery experience required (Tier 1)
• 1 Year RN OB experience required (Tier 2)
• 1 year RN current acute care experience required (Tier 3)
• New graduates with OB experience considered (Ex: Internship, Capstone, Nursing Asst) (Tier 3)

$44.64 to $74.33 per hour

Schedule

0.8 FTE (64 hours per two-week pay period), 8-hour day/evening shifts, Every other weekend rotation
