RN IV Team - Vascular Access Team - FT - 1st Shift
About the role
Provides expertise in vascular assessment, deciding on appropriate device for patient specific needs. Provides PIV for difficult access, inserts Midlines and EJ devices when needed. Provides a teaching environment at bedside as needed.
Qualifications
- Education: ADN or BSN from an accredited school of nursing or university required.
- Must have and maintain current licensure as registered nurse with the Alabama State Board of Nursing.
- Experience: Current role as IV RN preferred. Recent nursing experience required.
- Additional Skills/Abilities: BLS certification required. Extensive experience with all types of vascular access devices preferred. Excellent communication skills, time management and critical thinking are expected.
