RN IPU Night Shift - Hospice

About the role

JourneyCare Hospice is seeking Registered Nurses to join their expanding team. The ideal candidate will be part of a supportive environment that values both professional development and personal time.

Responsibilities

• Assess, determine eligibility, and process patients for admission
• Collect and analyze patient data to identify needs and coordinate interventions with interdisciplinary team
• Communicate with physicians, team members, and external agencies to ensure comprehensive care
• Conduct room visits to reassess patient needs and update care plans
• Perform therapeutic, preventative, and rehabilitative nursing procedures as directed
• Make clinical pronouncements of death and provide support to families
• Maintain accurate patient records and reports

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited registered nursing program
• Licensed as a registered nurse in the state of practice
• Maintain a current CPR certification
• Ability to handle patients, family members, visitors, agency personnel, and the general public with tact
• Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance required

Pay

• Up to $50.48/hour

Schedule

• (3) 12-hour shifts: 7PM-7AM, including every other weekend and 3 holidays/year
