RN - IPU Full Time (7p-7a) at the Voorhees IPU

About the role

As a Hospice Nurse, you will be responsible for overseeing the quality, expert care of your assigned hospice patients.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient and family educational needs and provides appropriate education
• Apply nursing principles and techniques in the treatment of patients, providing nursing care, emotional support and education to patient and family
• Initiate interdisciplinary plan of care to address PFC needs
• Provide safe and appropriate patient care in accordance with protocols, policies, procedures and physician orders
• Manage medications according to standards
• Respond appropriately in emergency situations
• Implement, evaluate and revise the plan of care and direct others in its implementation
• Provide or facilitate the provision of emotional and spiritual support to patients and their families
• Participate in the orientation of new employees
• Provide supervision of all CHHA and Volunteers

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience
• NJ RN license required; BSN preferred
• IV and Medical Surgical Experience required
• Hospice experience preferred
• Bilingual is a plus

Pay

$38.85 - $45.05 per hour based on years of experience.
