Position Purpose
Inpatient rehab, and a well-coordinated conditioning program for patients suffering from TBI, stroke, orthopedic surgery, and spinal cord trauma.
Shifts Available
- 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Day Shift 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM

Required Qualifications
- Graduation from a school of nursing resulting in the ability to sit for the NCLEX exam to become licensed as a Registered Nurse
- BSN preferred
- Current State of Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) License
- BLS
- ACLS required for Float Pool, Cardiac/Cath Lab, AICU, Emergency departments
- Experienced Canadian Registered Nurses encouraged to apply
- Graduation from accredited nursing program
- All new hires must have a BSN degree or must agree in writing to obtain their BSN within five (5) years from date of hire or transfer to an RN role
- Knowledge of nursing theory, practice and age specific needs
- Interpersonal skills necessary to initiate and maintain collegial relationships with coworkers and therapeutic relationships with patients and families
- Critical thinking skills necessary to perform principal duties and responsibilities of job description
- Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail when planning and performing professional nursing care

What you will do
- Gathers and analyzes patient information
- Develops, implements, evaluates and revises an individualized plan of care
- Uses teach back methodology to educate patient and family
- Actively seeks to prevent potential hospital acquired infections
- Effectively communicates patient status, priority goals and interventions during consultations, rounds and handoffs
- Fulfills all HIPAA policies and procedures
