About the role

MTM Staffing, brought to you by Southcoast Physician’s Group, is now hiring experienced Registered Nurses for our in-house travel team! This is an 11-13 week assignment, with the option to extend for 1 additional 13-week assignment if available. The position is multisite and may require floating to any Southcoast Hospital: Charlton Memorial Hospital, St. Luke’s—New Bedford.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Family Centered Unit/Labor & Delivery at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River, MA.
• Float to other like-units for patient assignments as required.
• Interpret basic telemetry strips.
• Work every other weekend and holiday, or every weekend, depending on scheduling needs.

Requirements

• Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum of one year of Family Centered Unit/Labor & Delivery nursing experience.
• Competency in reading and interpreting basic telemetry strips.
• Ability to efficiently float to other like-units for patient assignments.
• Working knowledge and experience with PC-based applications; Epic experience preferred.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and COVID-19, or sign an exemption statement for medical or personal reasons.

Qualifications

• Current Southcoast Health System employees are not eligible for consideration.
• Former employees must be separated from Southcoast for at least 9 months to be eligible.

Pay

USD $75.00 per hour.

Schedule

• Hours: 32 hours per week.
• Shifts: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM.
• Must work every other weekend and holiday, or every weekend, depending on scheduling needs.
