About the role

Provides technical assistance to patients under the supervision of a registered nurse, supporting quality patient outcomes within an Intensive Care Unit.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patients and contributes to developing, implementing, and evaluating individualized care plans under RN guidance.
• Assists nursing staff with patient care and communicates effectively with staff, patients, and guests.
• Participates in activities aimed at improving healthcare delivery and ongoing educational initiatives.
• Completes assigned goals and builds clinical knowledge, demonstrating emerging leadership skills.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled as a senior student in an approved registered nursing program, within one year of graduation, meeting all academic requirements.
• Computer literacy.
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire.
