About the role
The RN – Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Weekender Flex position at Cleveland Clinic Hillcrest Hospital is part of the Weekender Flex Program. This role requires working two 12-hour shifts per weekend and one 12-hour shift during the week.
Responsibilities
- Assist fellow caregivers in delivering exceptional care by interacting directly with patients, families, and visitors.
- Offer healthcare information as needed.
- Ensure quality patient care and effective life-saving treatment.
- Implement, monitor, evaluate, update, and revise patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patients' conditions.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
- Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
- Assess and coordinate patients' discharge needs.
- Provide education to patients and their families.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing.
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- BLS Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross.
- One year of current acute care RN experience OR military RN experience.

Pay
Minimum hourly: $35.50
Maximum hourly: $55.60

This position is full-time and works two 12-hour shifts per weekend and one 12-hour shift during the week.
