RN InPatient Rehab

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join Medical City Decatur, part of the nation's leading provider of healthcare services, HCA Healthcare.

About the Role

The RN is responsible for decisions and actions within the domain of nursing practice. Key responsibilities include:

• Promotion of a safe and therapeutic environment for both recipients and providers of nursing care
• Acquisition of specialized knowledge, skills, and additional formal education to provide specialized care
• Demonstration and validation of competence in nursing practice
• Clinical practice consistent with the policies, procedures, and standards of this facility
• Supervision of other staff as designated within the department

Requirements

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Texas State RN License or compacted license required
• Associate Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
• CRRN Preferred
• Minimum of 1-year recent nursing experience required; post-acute inpatient rehab care setting preferred
• Experience utilizing Patient Assessment Instrument (IRF-PAI) for inpatient rehab preferred
