RN - Inpatient OR, Neurosurgery

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Preferred: 6 months of relevant clinical experience
• Required: Clinical operating room experience
• Preferred: Licenses & Certifications - Registration as a professional nurse in the state of Wisconsin, CPR certification, ACLS certification, PALS certification

Responsibilities

• Work with a multidisciplinary team to plan for patient care in the operating room in a timely manner.
• Communicate and coordinate operating room activities to facilitate efficiency in the surgical case progression and turnover between cases.
• Implement safe, competent, and efficient patient and family care within policies, procedures, and standards of care plan to the perioperative patient’s level of complexity.

Pay

Salary is commensurate with experience.

Schedule

80% FTE, 8/12 hour day/evening shifts, Monday – Friday. Weekday and weekend call responsibilities. Holiday triage and call responsibilities. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.
