RN Inpatient (Nights) - Neurology Med/Surg

This position is located at Bismarck Med Ctr, 300 N 7th St, Bismarck, ND 58501. Shift: 12‑hour night shifts, full time (36 hours per week). Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care to patients. The RN will treat neuro‑medical and neurosurgery patients as well as a mix of general Med‑Surg patients in a fast‑paced, team‑focused environment. The position seeks positive, compassionate, hardworking nurses who can deliver high‑quality care to patients and families. Every 3rd weekend is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program (AACN, ACEN, or NLN CNEA).
• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
• Current unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where practice occurs, or multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state.
• Obtain and maintain required department‑specific competencies and certifications.

Pay

Salary range: $33.00 – $48.00 per hour. A $20,000 sign‑on bonus is available to eligible candidates. The position also includes a +$2.50/hr straight nights differential for 12‑hour night shifts.

Schedule

Shift: 12‑hour night shifts. Full time, 36.00 weekly hours. Every 3rd weekend required.
