Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation, and evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care to patients.
- Collaborate with other inter-professional colleagues, including physicians, to plan, implement, and evaluate care.
- Demonstrate competency and practice within the full scope of nursing expertise/knowledge, using appropriate age and population-specific standards.
- Care for patients in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up as patients move along the continuum of care.
- Plan and coordinate care, perform patient assessment, provide patient education, triage, and various other nursing interventions.
- Function within the scope and standards of nursing practice as outlined in the Nurse Practice Act and Administrative Rules in the state of practice and licensure.
The Sanford Professional Nursing Practice recognizes the Scope and Standards of Practice and the Code of Ethics for Nurses with Interpretive Statements as published by the American Nurses Association as the foundation of nursing care delivery and professional conduct.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state(s) of practice.
- Nurses performing nursing practice over the telephone require licensure in the states where the patients being served reside.
- Certification may be required depending on specialty or service area.
- Specific services/positions may have additional education, training, or experience requirements.

Pay
Salary Range: $41.15 - $63.85 per hour
Sign-on bonus up to $20,000 for eligible applicants.
