Responsibilities

• Communicates effectively with patients, families, physicians, and staff, maintaining professional relationships and promoting a positive environment
• Affirms patients and families about treatment plans and care procedures, ensuring understanding and compliance based on assessed learning needs
• Manages emergency patient situations, including codes
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols
• Collaborates with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
• Maintains accurate and detailed patient records
• Monitors and documents patient progress and treatment outcomes
• Performs diagnostic tests and interprets results to inform patient care

Requirements

• Clinical nursing expertise in oncology care
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Computer proficiency

Qualifications

• Associate's of Nursing [Required]
• Bachelor's [Preferred]
• Field Of Study in nursing BSN Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
• 1+ experience in acute care nursing [Required]
• Oncology experience [Preferred]

Skills

• Knowledge of clinical nursing expertise in oncology care
• Effective communication skills
• Computer proficiency
