RN II DOU - Full Time - Nights - 12hr ICH
About the role
The Staff RN at Emanate Health is responsible for coordinating and implementing patient care for a designated group of patients. This role involves ensuring that quality care is provided efficiently and safely, consistent with the unit’s standards.
Responsibilities
- Determines the biophysical, psychosocial, environmental, self-care, and educational needs of patients, families, and significant others.
- Develops, implements, and revises the plan of care using nursing skills.
- Works collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintains BLS certification and ACLS certification within 3 months of hire/transfer.
- Completes NIH Stroke Scale Certification "A" within 3 months of hire/transfer for ICU, SICU, CCU, NSU, and DOU (excluding 3DOU at QVH).
Requirements
All newly graduated nurses, re-entry nurses, and nurses new to the U.S. healthcare system must complete the Emanate Health R.N. Residency Program within the first 6 months of employment at Emanate Health.
- Excellent customer service skills are essential.
- A minimum of one year critical care experience is preferred.
- A current RN license in the State of California is required.
Qualifications
