RN, ICU / Stepdown Supervisor

What You Will Do

• Assist Director with administrative and clinical leadership.
• Plan, coordinate and manage personnel and resources to provide the highest quality patient care.
• Assist Director in collaborating with physicians and other health care disciplines to ensure optimal patient care.
• Develop, coordinate and implement clinical education programs to educate RN's, LPN's, and patient care techs.
• Lead with integrity and trust while driving results.
• Work to retain staff by promoting a positive work environment.
• Maintain confidentiality of customer/employee information, meeting HIPAA standards.
• Participate in the development, implementation and evaluation of the Nursing Department's vision, goals, and objectives.
• Plan, manage, implement, and evaluate clinical services to ensure quality, efficiency, and cost effectiveness.
• Responsible for the selection, development, motivation, and evaluation of staff.

What You Will Need

• Current active RN license in the State of Ohio required.
• BSN or higher preferred.
• 3-5 years of nursing experience required.
• 2-3 years supervisory experience required.
• Current BLS and ACLS required.
• Must be knowledgeable of Quality Assurance processes.
• Must be knowledgeable regarding the nursing process and its application, including the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care.
