RN - ICU (PCCU) - Nights

Role: Registered Nurse (RN) in ICU (PCCU) providing compassionate, safe, and patient-centered care. Responsibilities Include Developing, implementing, and evaluating individualized care plans to achieve optimal outcomes.Assessing patients, collecting health data, and communicating with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.Providing culturally sensitive education on disease management, emergency care, and medication use.Collaborating with healthcare professionals, sharing knowledge, and supporting clinical education.Assisting technical staff with procedures such as venipuncture, drug administration, and IV management.Participating in performance improvement activities, research, and evidence-based practice.Monitoring wound, ostomy, and skin care when skilled, and ensuring compliance with regulations.Transporting acutely ill patients as needed and maintaining patient safety and comfort. Qualifications Associate Degree or higher in Nursing; Bachelor's preferred.Active Illinois RN license.Current ACLS and BLS certifications.Minimum of 1 year inpatient nursing experience. Preferred Skills And Experience Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.ICU, ER, radiology, or wound/ostomy nursing experience.Certifications such as CWON or CWCN are advantageous.
