About the role
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides high-quality patient care by applying nursing knowledge with compassion and efficiency. Working under general supervision, the role involves coordinating patient care through the nursing process and multidisciplinary collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Assessing patient needs and conditions to deliver appropriate care.
- Analyzing medical history, diagnostic results, and current status to develop individualized care plans.
- Preparing and administering medications and treatments to ensure effective patient care.
- Reconciliating medical records for accuracy and compliance.
- Monitoring patient responses and adjusting interventions as needed.
- Collaborating with the healthcare team for effective care planning.
- Performing additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Nursing.
- 1 year of RN experience.
- Valid RN license in North Carolina or a Compact state.
- BLS certification from American Red Cross or AHA.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred).
- 1 year in a clinical specialty (preferred).
