RN ICU Float Pool Nurse

About the Role

Provides direct patient care in a technically complex ICU environment, utilizing the nursing process and evidence-based practices. Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes, prioritizes safety and quality, and models proficiency through precepting new staff members.

Responsibilities

• Deliver top-of-scope nursing care in ICU, supporting specialty standards and evidence-based models.
• Support clinical education and competency validation during orientation.
• Contribute to secure safety, quality, and patient wellness initiatives.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with active RN licensure.
• Minimum of 6 months ICU or PCU nursing experience or completion of a fellowship program.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications through the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
