Job Summary and Responsibilities

You will assume responsibility for acquiring knowledge and skills necessary for patient care in the identified practice setting. You will perform assessments and analyze patient problems and conditions using critical decision-making to determine the need for standard, urgent, or emergent interventions. You will implement and/or modify the plan of care using assessment data, standards of care, and evidence-based practice, including nursing care coordination, appropriate patient and family education, and discharge planning. You will facilitate interdisciplinary partnerships in patient care. You will integrate ethical provisions in nursing practice and deliver care in a manner that preserves and protects patient autonomy, dignity, and rights. You will administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments in compliance with policies and procedures. You will evaluate progress towards attaining desired patient outcomes.
Job Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, upon hire
- Registered Nurse: KY, upon hire
- Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support, within 90 Days

Welcome to Saint Joseph East, a 217-bed, full-service, community hospital located in a convenient setting in Lexington, Kentucky. Saint Joseph East also includes the Women's Hospital at Saint Joseph East which is dedicated to supporting the well-being of women in Central and Eastern Kentucky and serves a 16-bed Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

Pay Range
$37.20 - $37.20 /hour
