About the role

The Cambridge Health Alliance Nursing Team provides care with an emphasis on culturally sensitive and evidence based nursing practice. The ICU at the Cambridge Hospital is seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse.

Responsibilities

• Managing critically ill patients on mechanical ventilation
• Telemetry monitoring
• Invasive monitoring
• Administering multiple continuous IV medications
• Responding calmly and accurately in high‑stress situations
• Complying with CHA Service Standards for welcoming patients
• Providing quality care to patients in inpatient units
• Assessing, planning, implementing, and documenting patient care
• Communicating effectively with patients, families, and other health‑team members

Qualifications

• BSN preferred
• Current Massachusetts RN Licensure
• Current AHA BLS & ACLS certification required
• CCRN preferred
• Minimum of 2 years current ICU critical care RN experience
• Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and ability to independently interpret telemetry strips
• Experience in cardiac resuscitation, multi‑system organ failure, sepsis, and other critical illnesses
