About the role
Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the I-CORT team in McComb, MS.
Responsibilities
- Guides each patient in the appropriate supports needed to maximize health and wellness
- Makes sure to maintain accurate records of client services within electronic medical records according to PBMHR, DMH, and CARF standards
- Maintains close watch on consumers taking medication; administers injections as necessary
- Follows up with consumers post-discharge and conducts regular evaluations and therapy sessions
- Provides clinical therapy and emergency services to patients and their families
- Makes transportation available for patients in their own vehicle
Requirements
- Minimum of an ADN in Nursing required
- Valid RN license in MS required
- Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record
- Auto insurance liability limits of 100,000/300,000/50,000 within 30 days of hire
- Good communication, relationship building, and time management skills required
- Working knowledge of mental health symptoms preferred
