RN House Nursing Supervisor - Per Diem

Job Description

The Nursing Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of staff and the coordination of patient care services in the medical-surgical, progressive care, surgical services and emergency department settings on a shift-by-shift basis.

Qualifications

• Education: Associates Nursing Required. Bachelors Nursing Required With The Following Exceptions Must be enrolled in a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing degree program within one year of job description signing and must be completed with Bachelors of Science in Nursing within 4 years. If in an academic bridge program from ASN to MSN, completion must occur within 5 years.
• Experience: 3 Years Minimum clinical experience required. Prior supervisory experience preferred. Prior employment in more than one clinical setting also preferred.
• Certification & Licensures: West Virginia Nursing License Required or eligible for licensure. ACLS Certificate Required or eligible for certification. BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) - American Heart 'Healthcare Provider' (HCP) - AHA approved required * New hires must have American Heart Association (AHA) appropriate certification prior to completion of orientation.
