RN - Hospice

About the role

Aspire Rural Health Systems is seeking a RN to work in our Hospice Inpatient Residence department. We are looking for those with a great attitude to join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals who are constantly striving to provide our patients with the highest quality of services.

Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse (RN) in Hospice care plays a critical role in providing compassionate, patient-centered care to individuals facing life-limiting illnesses.
• This position focuses on managing symptoms, coordinating care plans, and supporting both patients and their families through the end-of-life journey.
• The RN will collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care that addresses physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
• By advocating for patient comfort and dignity, the RN helps improve quality of life during this sensitive time.
• Ultimately, this role is essential in delivering expert clinical care while fostering a supportive environment for patients and their loved ones.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse with current licensure in the State of Michigan.
• BLS required or obtained within 6 months of hire.
• Strong knowledge of end-of-life care principles, symptom management, and pain control.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Great attitude and engages patients with a smile.
• Team player and problem solver.
