RN HOPS – Bronchoscopy

About the role

The Bronch Suite at Cleveland Clinic is seeking a Registered Nurse to join a world-renowned team that provides advanced care to patients with airway disease. Nurses in this role will benefit from a supportive environment and opportunities for professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic or therapeutic services in various healthcare settings.
• Assess patients, complete nursing assessments, document findings in patient records, and notify physicians of abnormal findings.
• Perform telephone triage and call rotations.
• Perform nursing procedures and administer treatments and medications.
• Establish care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the health care team.
• Cover other nursing roles in the department.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross.
• One year of recent experience as an RN or two years of LPN experience within the same Cleveland Clinic procedural department may substitute for required RN experience.
• In areas performing moderate sedation procedures, must have current ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

Skills

Knowledge of respiratory care principles and techniques, ability to assess patients, and proficiency in medical terminology are essential.

Pay and Schedule

• Pay Range: Minimum hourly $35.50, Maximum hourly $55.60.
• Workdays: 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
• On-call requirements apply.

Schedule

Nurses in the Bronch Suite work days from 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. with on-call requirements.
