RN Home Health - Weekend Status
Job Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide professional nursing services to patients at home. This includes assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care. The nurse collaborates with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to plan, implement, and evaluate care. They also care for patients in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up in the home setting.
Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA).
- Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
- Minimum of one year of professional nursing experience preferred.
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possesses multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state.
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
- Certificate for Outcome and Assessment Information Set (OASIS) Specialist - Clinical (COS-C) preferred.

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our home health team. Our flexible scheduling allows for a balanced work-life environment while maintaining the quality care that is the hallmark of Sanford Home Health. Weekend differentials offered.
Skills
Compassion, teamwork, and strong communication skills are essential. Knowledge of the nursing process and ability to work independently and as part of a team are required. Proficiency in using electronic health records and patient care software is beneficial.
