Home Health RN Weekends

Responsibilities

• Oversee the activities of the multi-disciplinary team that provides care to the patient
• Monitor the provision of therapeutic services through written and verbal communication with all disciplines
• Ensure that all visits scheduled and provided are authorized and covered by physician orders
• Review of patient visits weekly and providing plan to Patient Care Supervisor and team assistant, including anticipated weekend visits
• Inform the scheduler of any schedule changes and communicates caseload and patient care issues to Home Care Supervisor

Requirements

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• RN (Registered Nurse)
• Licence Driver's License State of Florida (Florida driver's license is required within 30 days of hire)
• Education: Associate's or Diploma Nursing preferred, Bachelor's Nursing preferred
• Experience: 1 year Registered Nurse or 1 year Licensed Practical Nurse preferred, 1 year Home Care experience preferred

Qualifications

• Passes Level II screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse, managed by the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA)

• Knowledge of nursing processes and clinical standards

Schedule

• Full Time
• Shift Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM / Friday - Monday
• Occasional On Call
• Home visits in assigned service area: Manatee County
