RN Home Health - Sign on Bonus Eligible

About the role

BJC Home Care is seeking a registered nurse to provide direct patient care within a 40-hour work week with flexible shifts and weekend rotations. The position offers paid on-call nights, two holidays per year, and reimbursement for mileage and cell phones/laptops.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate clients and provide specialized nursing services, including preventive and rehabilitative procedures.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans with defined goals, collaborating with the interprofessional team and patient/family/caregiver.
• Promote respect, equity, and empathy in interactions with diverse and vulnerable populations.
• Collaborate with the interprofessional team to ensure evidence-based practice and quality patient outcomes.
• Evaluate patient conditions, inform family/caregivers, and communicate changes in the plan of care to the team.
• Ensure compliance with safety-sensitive requirements.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Supervisor experience preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree in Nursing.
• At least 2-5 years of relevant experience.

• Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of home health care protocols and regulations.
