Cardiothoracic ICU RN

• Valid NC RN License or Compact State RN License required
• Heart experience preferred
• ACLS and BCLS required
• CVT is an 18-bed acuity adaptable unit specializing in cardiothoracic surgery, vascular surgery, and management of Intra-aortic balloon pumps, and Impella devices
• Nurses develop strong assessment skills and become experts at managing drip titrations, chest tubes, and ventilators
• This setting provides for efficient patient care and strengthens the nurse/patient relationship
• Nurses are required to obtain and maintain ACLS certification
