RN GIG - Flex/Per Diem/PRN - Mercy St Louis and Surrounding Communities

Role Overview

Provides patient care using the nursing process, ensuring professional accountability and evaluating care effectiveness. Coordinates with other departments, maintains patient rights and confidentiality, and aligns with organizational standards.

Responsibilities

• Performs duties across various departments such as Behavioral Health, Emergency, ICU, Medical-Surgical, and Women's Health.
• Flexibly schedules shifts, including days and nights, with no weekend or holiday requirements.
• Responsible for a minimum number of hours, available on short notice, and adaptable to last-minute cancellations.

Qualifications & Skills

• Must have a current RN license, with at least one year of recent Med Surg experience or two years for specialty areas.
• PREFERRED: BSN and Epic experience.
• Certifications include BLS; ACLS and PALS for critical care and ED.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform prolonged standing, walking, and other physical tasks.
