About the role
Provide patient-centered endoscopic and gastrointestinal procedural care in the GI Lab.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for procedures and assist physicians during endoscopies and related interventions.
- Administer and monitor sedation to ensure patient safety.
- Manage post-procedure recovery and provide patient education.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care.
- Uphold infection control and safety standards.
- Accurately document care and procedures in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
Requirements
- Valid RN license and relevant clinical experience.
- Strong knowledge of GI procedures and sedation protocols.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to patient safety, infection control, and quality improvement.
