RN - GI Lab

About the role

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of RNs, GI techs, and CNAs, working seamlessly with anesthesia and GI services to deliver exceptional care. You'll play a vital role in ensuring top-tier care for both inpatient and outpatient populations.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with advanced GI procedures such as EGD, colonoscopies, ERCP, EUS, manometry, Fibro Scan, PillCam, Bravo, and HALO.
• Providing pre-operative and post-operative recovery care, with a strong emphasis on patient safety and comfort.
• Rotating through all areas of GI to offer a diverse and stimulating work environment.

Requirements

• One year medical/surgical experience required; critical care, PACU, or GI endoscopy experience strongly preferred.
• Endoscopy, PACU, phlebotomy, and airway management preferred.
• Basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• Required: RN (Registered Nurse) State of Missouri, BLS (Basic Life Support) from AHA (American Heart Association), ACLS (Advance Cardiac Life Support) from AHA (American Heart Association).
• PREFERRED: CGRN (Certified Gastroenterology RN).
