RN- FT- Observation Unit

Responsibilities

• Accurately assesses the patient based on their medical condition.
• Knows and administers ordered medications as prescribed.
• Provides care appropriate to the patient's condition and age, including basic self-care activities.
• Formulates a teaching plan based on identified learning needs and evaluates its effectiveness.
• Uses nursing knowledge to perform treatments and provide services.
• Communicates and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to provide patient care.
• Assists physicians with procedures and performs services requiring technical and manual skills.
• Demonstrates ability to address psychosocial needs of patients and family, and communicates with social services.
• Promotes cost-effective practices and reduces the risk of unnecessary harm through patient safety measures.

Specifications

• Experience:

  • Minimum Required: Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Preferred/Desired: BLS certification within 14 days of hire, ACLS/PALS specialty certification.

• Licenses:

  • Minimum Required: RN.

• Education:

  • Minimum Required: Graduate of an accredited nursing program.

• Special Skills:

  • Minimum Required: Computer literacy.
