Shift

Schedule 07-1530, 40 hours every 2 weeks
Every other weekend
Some holidays

Responsibilities

• Provides and directs safe, effective, and culturally-competent care for high-risk pediatric through aging adult patients with actual or potential life-threatening health problems in the intensive care units
• Complex assessments, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care using critical thinking and evidenced-based practice
• Providing high-intensity therapies and interventions with continuous nursing surveillance
• Adherence to the Professional Practice Standards as defined by ANA
• Active participation in quality monitoring and performance improvement activities

Requirements

• Licensure/Registration: Registered Nurse in Iowa; Registered Nurse in Illinois within 1 year.
• No experience required

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's Degree
• Field Of Study: Nursing
• Special Training: ACLS; Basic Life Support
• Preferred: Baccalaureate in Nursing, 2 years experience
• Critical Care/ED/CSU/CU
