Scope of work

• Delivers nursing care professionally according to the American Nurses Association (ANA) and state regulations.
• Demonstrates competency through the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Holds oneself accountable for upholding the standards of professional performance as outlined by the ANA, including ethical practice, cultural competence, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence-based practice, research, quality of practice, professional practice evaluation, resource utilization, and environmental health.
• Strives to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required within 5 years.
• Mi Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days.
• AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 6 months.
