The Emergency Department features 25 beds with 16 state‑of‑the‑art treatment areas, including two trauma bays, and provides rapid assessment, resuscitation, stabilization, and emergency interventions. Highlights include helicopter transport agreements with Level I and Level II trauma centers, services for minor injuries and illnesses, advanced equipment, and highly skilled emergency staff.
The ICU is a 6‑bed unit delivering high‑touch, high‑quality critical care. Nurses are drawn to the ICU for exceptional onboarding and training, strong leadership support, opportunities to grow advanced clinical knowledge, and a team‑centered environment focused on patient safety and professional development.
The OB Unit, renovated in 2019, includes 3 Labor & Delivery rooms and 5 Postpartum rooms, supported by an experienced, stable team of 13‑15 RNs. As the primary inpatient OB service for Mason County and surrounding communities, the unit serves families from areas including Cadillac, Lake County, and Oceana County.
