About the role
Registered Nurse (RN) Float Pool, providing flexible patient care across various hospital units, supporting diverse clinical needs.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and deliver nursing care under supervision, ensuring compliance with hospital policies, state regulations, and professional standards.
- Support multiple units, demonstrating critical thinking and maintaining composure under pressure.
- Promote effective communication and teamwork within the hospital.
- Provide patient-centered nursing care, adapt to different hospital units, and uphold standards of practice.
- Contribute to a collaborative environment with excellent communication skills and a high level of clinical knowledge, ensuring quality care delivery across departments.
Qualifications
- Preferred BSN; current Missouri RN licensure required
- BLS certification at hire; ACLS and NIH Stroke Scale certification within specified timeframes
- Minimum of 8 hours cerebrovascular and trauma-related continuing education annually
- 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred, including emergency or critical care backgrounds
