RN-Float
FTE: .9FTE, 12-hour shifts including days, nights, and every other weekend.
Position Summary
We’re seeking a float pool staff RN to join our hospital-based team and support a variety of our acute care departments. Responsibilities
- Organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering, and evaluating on an ongoing basis
- Utilize the knowledge base of nursing education and experience to deliver nursing care using the nursing process according to hospital policies, procedures, and protocols
- Collaborate with the nursing team to facilitate overall improvement in quality of care, patient experience, and cost reduction
- Foster a learning environment for patients/families, nursing staff, and members of the health care team
- Advocate for ethical and holistic care promoting the autonomy, dignity, and health of patients from diverse ethnic and social backgrounds
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
- Advanced degree in Nursing (MSN, PhD, DNP, ARNP) preferred
- Current Registered Nurse license in Washington State or Multistate License endorsement (MLS)
- Refer to BLS and ALS policy grid for requirements
- Minimum (2) years of experience
- Current Washington State Driver’s License; and proof of a safe driving record (which meets established MHS Standards) obtained by a motor vehicle report from the appropriate state
Pay
- Competitive rates – $40.21-$80.17 depending on Union Step
- $2.50 float premium
- $10K sign-on bonus (BSN and 3 years of experience required) and up to $10K relocation. Sign-on and relocation bonus requires a 24-month commitment.
- Pay scale: $46.35 - $90.00 USD (influenced by skill set, level of experience, certification(s), and education)
- Eligible for shift differentials
