Pay
- Starting Pay: $40.60 to $60.89 per hour (based on experience)
- Offers for external candidates are generally made between the minimum and 3/4 point of the range, based on experience

Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited professional nursing program and accredited RNFA program
- Operating room experience or training within the last three years preferred
- Knowledge of the principles of aseptic technique and perioperative policies and procedural guidelines
- BLS certification within 90 days of hire
Responsibilities
- Provides visualization of the operative site
- Utilizes appropriate techniques to assist with hemostasis
- Utilizes appropriate techniques in closure of body planes
- Selects and applies appropriate wound dressings
- Provides assistance in securing drainage system to tissue
- Participates in volume replacement or auto transfusion techniques as appropriate
- Assists with positioning the patient
- Prepares the skin for procedure
- Anticipates the needs of the surgeon
- Maintains confidentiality
- Maintains ongoing self-development
- Other duties as assigned
