RN First Assistant - Full Time

We are seeking a Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) to join a collaborative surgical team, providing perioperative care in a fast-paced operating room setting. In this role, you will work closely with surgeons to assist during surgical procedures, supporting pre-op, post-op, and discharge processes, ensuring sterile techniques and high standards of surgical care. You will evaluate the effectiveness of care provided by other caregivers and coordinate patient care across departments, maintaining patient rights and confidentiality. Qualifications include active RN licensure, perioperative nursing experience, and within one year, certifications such as CNOR and RN-First Assistant. BLS/ACLS certifications are also required. Candidates should demonstrate ongoing competence in assisting with surgical procedures.
