About the role
We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to oversee resident care at a skilled nursing facility.
Responsibilities
- Scheduling and assigning nursing staff to meet resident needs
- Providing compassionate support to residents and their families
- Answering questions and facilitating communication among residents and staff
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and compliant environment by enforcing rules and regulations
- Monitoring confidential information to ensure resident confidence
- Managing documentation related to resident care services
- Fostering cooperative relationships within healthcare teams
Requirements
- Valid RN license
- At least 3 years of experience in long-term care
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR) and prescribing programs
- Excellent communication skills
- Basic computer proficiency
