Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Endoscopy Responsibilities: Provide safe patient care during endoscopic procedures, collaborating with physicians and healthcare team members. Ensure availability of equipment and supplies, document patient progress accurately, assess patient health status, and respond promptly to changes. Delegate activities appropriately, maintain safety protocols, and deliver concise communication to team members and patients’ families. Plan and implement individualized care based on assessments, diagnoses, and physician preferences. Support emergency situations and ensure proper specimen handling. Practice within regulatory guidelines and uphold universal precautions. Qualifications & Skills: Graduate of an accredited nursing program, current Illinois RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications. Demonstrates comprehensive nursing knowledge, effective communication, critical thinking, and teamwork. Physical ability to perform duties, including lifting, walking, and bending, with adequate visual and hearing senses. Work Environment & Conditions: Inside settings with varying environmental conditions, occasional exposure to fumes, dust, and hazards. Use of personal protective equipment provided. Physical demands include standing, walking, and lifting.
