RN - Emergency Services - Hillcrest - Nights

About the role

Scripps Mercy Hospital, founded in 1890, serves central and downtown San Diego. The San Diego campus is located in Hillcrest. The hospital includes the O’Toole Breast Care Center, a 24-hour emergency room, outpatient physical rehabilitation, minimally invasive robotic surgery, and a childbirth unit with a Level II neonatal intensive care unit.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient care assessment, planning, and implementing a plan of care, and evaluating patients' progress towards expected outcomes.
• Take primary responsibility for the patients' care as delivered by the Care Team under their supervision.
• Work collaboratively with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.

Requirements

• Registered Nursing Degree from an Accredited School of Nursing
• Active California RN license
• BLS, ACLS, PALS Healthcare Provider Certifications through American Heart Association
• 1 year of experience in adult emergency services
• Excellent interpersonal skills and positive behaviors
• Able to speak, read, and follow instructions in English

Qualifications

• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in nursing, CEN – Certified Emergency Nursing

Pay

$59.16-$85.68/hour

Schedule

72 hours per 2-week pay period | 12-hour Night shifts (including weekends)
