RN Emergency Medicine - OALH ED - Full Time- Nights

Responsibilities

• Effectively uses the nursing process in delivering patient care
• Affirms learning needs and implements teaching strategies for diverse patient groups
• Communicates, delegates, and manages nursing team resources appropriately
• Evaluates and promotes changes to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Supports customer satisfaction and employee morale, enhancing the profession of nursing

Requirements

• Current RN license in the state of practice
• Certified Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
• Certified in Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI)
• Certified in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 90 days of hire
• Certified in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 90 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
• Certification in a clinical specialty area preferred

• Proficiency in computer usage and software applications
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Ability to make sound judgments
• Strong interpersonal skills
