RN - Emergency Department - Travel

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care from Pediatric to Geriatric stages with comprehensive and accurate assessments.
• Demonstrate competent clinical skills and provide appropriate nursing care; utilize emergency equipment and procedures effectively.
• Maintain complete and accurate records, documenting the nursing process and patient progress.
• Uphold professional practice standards and identify areas for growth.
• Engage with patients and families professionally, maintaining confidentiality.
• Adhere to National Patient Safety Goals, using safe transfer techniques and proper body mechanics.
• Tailor patient care based on conditions, procedures, and equipment encountered.
• Prioritize patient care and adapt to changes in patient conditions.
• Educate patients and families, ensuring understanding of procedures.
• Support timely patient testing and evaluate Pre Admission Testing orders (PAT RN duties).

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in Critical Care, Cardiac, or ED
• BSN License – Required
• ACLS Certification – Required
• PALS Certification – Required for pediatric ER

• 7 PM – 7 AM
