About the role
The staff nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to patients across all age groups, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. They operate within organizational policies, demonstrate professional growth and accountability, maintain practice standards, and coordinate patient care activities of assigned staff to ensure quality nursing services.
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program (bachelor’s degree preferred).
- No experience required; new graduates are eligible.
- Hospital experience and 1 year in a hospital setting are preferred.
- Valid Georgia RN license or NLC/eNCL multistate license.
- BCLS certification.
- Advanced certifications in specialty areas, if applicable.
