About the role
The staff nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to patients across all age groups, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. He/she operates within organizational policies and demonstrates professional growth and accountability. The nurse is responsible for maintaining practice standards and coordinating patient care activities among assigned staff to ensure quality nursing services.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited nursing school
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- No experience required; new graduates eligible
- Hospital experience preferred
- 1 year hospital experience for PRN roles
- Current Georgia RN license and/or NLC/eNLC multistate license required
- BCLS certification required
- Advanced certifications in specialty areas are a plus
