RN - Emergency Department, Night Shift

About the role

Provide high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced, high-acuity Emergency Department serving patients of all ages in a Level III Trauma Center.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using nursing processes.
• Ensure adherence to organizational policies and standards of practice.
• Coordinate patient care activities and demonstrate professionalism, teamwork, and accountability.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• New graduates eligible; hospital experience preferred.
• Current Georgia RN license or multistate license required.
• BCLS certification required; additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, and specialty-specific credentials may be required based on unit.

Skills

• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required certifications within specified timeframes, including ACLS, PALS, and specialty certifications for various units.
