About the Role

Under the direct supervision of the Supervisor, directs, coordinates, and controls the nursing activities of assigned staff. Assists the Supervisor in evaluation of assigned staff and in completion of assigned projects. Provides care for a group of patients utilizing the Nursing Process. Assignments are performed appropriately to age and developmental level of patients being served. Responsible for maintaining nursing schedules and orientation of new employees.

Qualifications

Education

• Required: Associate's Degree from an accredited school of nursing.
• Required: BSN degree from an accredited school of nursing within three (3) years of hire date.
• Preferred: BSN.

Licensure/Certifications

• Required: Licensed to practice nursing in the State of Florida.
• Required: BLS (Basic Life Support).
• Required: ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support).
• Required: PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support).
• Preferred: Professional certification.

Experience

• Required: 1-2 years of RN experience.
