About the role
Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital is a Magnet Hospital, recognized for its excellence in nursing. The Emergency Department (ED) is a Level II Trauma Center specializing in general emergency/trauma, cardiac services, sepsis care, and SANE services.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional care throughout the patient care journey.
- Interact directly with patients and their families, enhancing their experience and providing healthcare education as needed.
- Contribute to education within the specialty of cardiac care.
- Provide direct nursing care.
- Implement, monitor, evaluate, update, and revise patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patients' conditions.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
- Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
- Assess and coordinate patients' discharge needs.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN, or BSN).
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- BLS Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross.
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC - adult) or Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC - pediatric).
- One year of current acute care RN experience and/or ED experience, or licensed military RN experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Critical care background preferred.

- Knowledge of trauma and cardiac care.

Pay
- Minimum hourly: $35.50
- Maximum hourly: $55.60
Schedule
- Evenings from 3:00 p.m. – 3:30 a.m.
- Weekend and holiday requirements.
